Trapeze Group fully integrates Trapeze-IMS

In 2012, Trapeze Group acquired the Swiss communications specialist INFO MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AG (IMS) with headquarters in Winterthur, Switzerland, which continued its operations as an autonomous Trapeze subsidiary. Now the company has been fully integrated in the Trapeze Group. At the same time, IMS has moved to new business premises at the European headquarters of Trapeze in Neuhausen am Rheinfall, Switzerland.

In September 2012, the Trapeze Group acquired the communications specialist IMS Info Management Systems AG based in Winterthur, Switzerland, which since then has continued its operations as an autonomous Trapeze subsidiary. In the context of a careful strategy review, the Trapeze management have now decided to fully merge IMS with Trapeze Switzerland GmbH. Trapeze Switzerland GmbH retroactively took over all existing contracts as a universal successor effective 1 January 2015. In addition, IMS moved to new business premises at the European headquarters of Trapeze in Neuhausen am Rheinfall effective 1 July 2015. IMS has already left its location in Winterthur.

Staff-related change
At the point of time of integration, IMS company manager Oskar Persano transferred his management responsibilities to Peter Schneck, CEO Trapeze Switzerland. Mr Persano is to remain within the company, continuing to support all PARITY business.

Utilising synergies with the public transport specialist Trapeze
The PARITY solutions including EFB (incident management, passenger information, operations monitoring) are strategic products within the Trapeze portfolio. We plan to continue the development and maintenance of these important solutions for our customers in the private and regional railways segments as well as in the field of public urban passenger transport, but also in connection with operations centres for emergency and rescue services. “Under the roof of the Trapeze Group, we believe that PARITY beneftis from the best conditions for building synergies and utilising existing resources together,” says Peter Schneck, CEO Trapeze Switzerland.
